Just sold a local lady a pair of coral earrings and a silk scarver* that are serving as gifts from Mauritius, for friends, that she forgot to buy while she was there. In Mauritius.

saturday am: the shop.
saturday pm: had tea at the mount nelson hotel (birthday bash for nantalith and aki).
saturday later pm: woo! opening bash for jean’s books actually.

sunday: spent all day running around taking pictures for the big group “freedom is…” exhibition going on at Exposure Gallery this Thursday (and for two weeks after) (at the old biscuit mill - map).
sunday pm: Braai at Jess & Eck’s. What? It’s Sunday.

today am: developing and printing sunday’s pictures.
today more am: visit jean’s shop to buy books and go “WOO!” .

tuesday am: CBD spedition for barners fodder.
tuesday middle: in the shop for a few hours, then buying film.
tuesday pm: off to the Goodwood police station with Roberta to take pictures of the blind switchboard operator and her doggy (it’s this whole project thing the spedition monkeys are doing for the guide dog association of SA. fun, but difficult.).
tuesday more pm: kittens to vet for snippage. sniffle…
tuesday even more pm: business(ish) dinner to discuss future millions of rands with aki.

wednesday am: pick up kittens.
wednesday pm: feed some woodstock-living friends.

thursday am: hang my freedom pics.
thursday pm: go to shoot blind counselling dude at Stellenbosch Uni with Andrew.
thursday more pm: go to Exposure gallery for opening bash with booze and musica. Yay!

friday early am: off to Tokai forest to take gritty / dirty pictures of a mountain bike race thing happening there with Kane and Roberta.

after all the above: chill a bit.

• I’m not wearing flip flops to work anymore.*
• Or shorts.
• I have to turn on the shop’s nightlights** while I’m still in the shop. Normally about now, actually.
• It is very cold in the morning.
• We got wood.***
• It’s moving towards June. Time, I mean.
