For a while there we had separate studies, and all was well, but curses, there we had to go and have a baby and kick Armin (who cannot work with choons) out of his study and into mine. Mind you nowadays I don't dare listen to music for fear of not hearing baby wake up... Interesting fact: it's all to do with how your brain is wired up. Me, see, I have audio hooked up to theta brain state (relaxing, info being gently assimilated). A has it hooked up to beta (info absorbing) and so he can't NOT actively listen if there is music. (There is also alpha, info sorting.) Interesting. We have much the same dilemma at home.
