For the first: it’s curtains for you!
No, seriously. Cinema Red curtains in the hallway, and cool swirly things in the lounge (with detail shot).
For the second: stick it to me!
No, seriously. Latta / latte / lateagain sticks nailgunned into timber frame.
I don’t have any fancy pictures. Stv will do this.
However: The important things to note are
- Wrenschovations are going great!
- Builderman nice. Efficient. Capable.
[Point, case: We discovered a window was put in slightly off-center. We thought "Damn. Window off centre. We can probably live with that...." I called builderman and said "Um... window slightly off centre... we can probably live with it..." He said, "No no no. We are going to have to move the window." Window now moved. Like that, see?]
- All the walls are gone! and it feels really great. Good wall-smashing decisions, yes!
- Tiles bought. Ice-blue glass mosaics for bathroom, wine-red glass mosaics for (a tiny bit) of the kitchen.
- Electrician has come and angle ground shafts in walls. There are now plug-shaped holes everywhere. It is awesome.
Altogether, woot, yay, woot!
Ahem.
Alternative title: odd things to do late at night that you know you won’t have time to do tomorrow at work.
